Crusader Comments – May 16 – May 20

Hello fellow Crusaders!  

The 2022 ECS Parent Survey is now closed and a special THANK YOU to the 94 people that responded to the survey. Dr. Ankers, Mrs. Atkinson, myself, and the school committee will be reviewing the results and using your input to help us continue to improve ECS. Go Crusaders.

 

Highlights:

* Re-Enrollment: All current students should re-enroll using the link that was emailed, if you can’t find it, please call Stacie and ask her to send a new link. (Please do not use the new students link on the school website.) Complete each of the steps listed and at the end of the registration process you will need to pay the $150 registration fee (p/child) online. If you have a sibling that is currently not at ECS that you want to attend ECS next school year, please contact the school office and Mrs. McElveen will email you the link to register that child(ren).
* Open Enrollment: If any of your friends children would like to enroll at ECS for next school year, please send them to our school website, www.ecscrusaders.com, and have them click on the Enroll Today link on the home page or under the Admissions tab and then the 2022-23 Admissions tab.
* Senior Class Trip to Florida May 14-20. Be in prayer that they all have a great and safe time.
* Excel Recitals are on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm in the sanctuary. Anyone is welcome to join us for this event.
* Boys Soccer Interest meeting for boys in grades 5th-11th from 3-3:30pm on the soccer field
* Cheerleader Tryouts for girls currently in grades 6th-11th are May 18, 19 and 20 from 3-4:30pm. Cheerleader parent meeting on Monday, May 23 in the gym at 3pm.
* Students in K2-K5. The last day of school for this school year is May 20 for these students. In order to assist parents, Childcare will be provided for any ECS students in these grades for May 23-26 from 7:30-5:30. It is $25 per day. Students should bring 2 snacks, lunch and napping materials.
* Kindergarten graduation is Friday, May 20 at 7pm in the sanctuary.
* Athletic Physicals for students currently in grades 5th-11th are on Thursday, May 26 from 1-4pm. Email cballard@ecscrusaders.com or call the school office and let us know if your child will be attending and at what time. These are $10 athletic physicals. Once registered, go to ecscrusaders.com, then to the Athletics tab, then to the Sports Forms tab. Fill out all of the forms on
this tab and bring $10 and the completed forms on the 26th.
* Just a reminder – grades 7th-11th exams are May 23-26.
* Just a reminder – May 24, 25 and 26 are half days with a noon dismissal. ASC available for students in grades 1st-6th from Noon-5:30.
* Just a reminder – No School on May 27, it is just Awards day. Grades 1st-6th Awards day is May 27 at 8:30am and Grades 7th-12th Awards day is May 27 at 10am.
* Just a reminder – High School graduation is May 27 at 7pm in the sanctuary. All are invited.
* COVID-19 Update – There are currently 0 positive student cases that we are aware of in grades K2-6th. There are currently 0 positive student cases that we are aware of in grades 7th-12th.
