We are thankful for what God is doing and going to do for each child and each family through our amazing ECS faculty and staff.
*Our fall catalog and online fundraiser ENDS Monday, October 12. Sell, sell, sell this weekend.
*This Friday, October 16, is a no school day. No ASC also.
*COVID-19 update – There are currently no positive student cases that we are aware of in grades K2-6th. There are currently no positive student cases that we are aware of in grades 7th-12th.
*On Thursday, October 1, Dr. Ankers, our upper school principal, invited the Bob Jones University Math Team to ECS to speak to our junior and senior classes separately. They gave our students a practice SAT, spent time discussing and giving pointers on how to take the SAT and did a review game with SAT
questions to help them be better prepared to take the SAT.
*Elementary parents, look for information coming home Monday, October 12, regarding Little Crusaders Soccer for girls and boys in grades 1-6.
*6th-12th grade boys and girls basketball signups are starting now.
*1st quarter report cards will be sent home on Oct. 22.
*Fall individual picture retake day is Oct. 26.
*Fall Festival – We will not be having the fall festival this year because of the COVID transmission risk involved. BUT we will be having Mistletoe Market on December 9-11.
*Fall school calendar – Please go to the school website and review the changes to the remaining fall school calendar. Events have been adjusted or removed in October, November, December, and January because of COVID risk of transmission. We will review the spring calendar in November.
*Grandparents Day is Friday, October 30, and, due to COVID, it will look very different than in previous years. Please look for information coming soon.

Cross Country – away at Darlington Middle at 5:30pm
No school and no ASC
Home volleyball (JV 4:00, V 5:00) and soccer (5:00) vs Calvary Christian. This is Senior Night.
SCACS Cross Country State Meet at Hampton Park Christian School – girls at 10:30 and boys at 11:15.
Have a great weekend and make sure you are plugged into a local church body (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you don’t have a local church that you currently attend, we invite you to visit us at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 10:30 for Worship.
