Hello fellow Crusaders!
We are thankful for what God is doing and going to do for each child and each family through our amazing ECS faculty and staff. Please continue to be diligent about washing your hands, wearing a mask in public, and socially distancing.
*United Way is holding its 7th annual Coats, Hats and Gloves for Kids drive. A collection box is located outside the school office and will be available until Thanksgiving. Please donate new or gently used items.
*Elementary Parents if you signed up for Little Crusaders Soccer for girls and boys in grades 1-6, please remember that the parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 26 at 2:55pm in the gym, and games will begin that day and last until 4:30pm.
*6 th -12 th grade Boys and Girls basketball signups are going on now.
*Fall Individual Picture retake day is Monday, Oct. 26
*Senior Trip Parent Meeting at 6:30pm in the cafeteria – Monday, Oct. 26. They will be discussing our senior trip and some of the fundraisers that will help offset the cost.
*Grandparents Day at the ECS Book fair is Friday, October 30 and Grandparents of students in K2-K5 are scheduled to attend the book fair between 8-9am, 1 st -3 rd grades between 9-10am, and 4 th -6 th grades between 10-11am. Please come to the 100 building and Mr. Ballard or Mrs. Atkinson will release your grandchild to you to take them to the book fair.
*The Book Fair this year will be available online and in ECS in the library (M-Th) and then in the Cafeteria on Friday. To shop online go to scholastic.com/fair and put Emmanuel Christian School in the school search, click enter, then select ECS at 1001 N. Marquis Hwy Hartsville, then click on select school and then go to the bottom of the page to “Shop The Store.” The online portion is OPEN NOW until Nov. 3rd.
*COVID-19 Update – There are currently no positive student cases that we are aware of in grades K2-6th. There are currently three positive student cases that we are aware of in grades 7th -12th.

Crusader Comments are sent out electronically through email on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and deal with important information and upcoming events for the next week of school. You will receive a Remind text to remind you to review it as you are making your plans for the upcoming week.
