Crusader Comments – October 17-23

Hello fellow Crusaders!

Thank you to everyone who supported ECS through purchasing/selling items for our Fall Fundraiser. We hope to have a final total next week. Remember…. profit from the sale will be put in a fund set aside for the elementary playground. At ECS we partner with you the parent/guardian in “Teaching the Mind and Training the Heart” of each child, each and every day.

* United Way is holding its 9th annual Coats, Hoodies, Hats and Gloves for Kids drive. A collection box is located next to the school office and will be available until November 18. Please donate new or gently used items. This is a great opportunity to give back to our local community by helping others in need.
* Required 12th grade parent meeting on Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.
* The end of the 1st quarter was October 13. The quarter grade does affect eligibility for sports. Athletes must have no F’s and at least a 70 overall average to continue to participate. Ineligibility becomes effective on Saturday, October 22 at 8am.
* Report cards for students in K5-12th grade will be emailed and sent home on Friday, October 21.  Please sign and return your printed copy on Monday, October 24.
* Little Crusader Soccer starts Tuesday, November 1. Registration forms are coming home on Monday, October 17 and should be returned at the end of the week to the school office by Friday, October 21. If paying by check, make the $35 check out to “The Crusader Booster Club”.
* If you want to attend our EBC Judgement House then come between 5-8pm on October 21, 22 & 23.  For groups call the church office at 843-332-2271, for a reservation. This year’s theme is “treasured”.
